“Why a brewery?” In all honesty, it isn’t to do what has already been done or to do what is popular or cool. It is instead to live and share our personal passion. Passion to create, passion to inspire, passion to innovate, passion to collaborate, passion to respect those before us. Our desire isn’t to jump on the bandwagon, but to craft beer that speaks to us, this place, this space—hopefully in an inspiring, collaborative and special way. We are beer lovers who really enjoy the taste and aroma of a great, well crafted beer. For many years we have worked to brew the type of beer that we, our wives, and friends enjoy – simple, yet creative and fun. We are taking some traditional, but fresh recipes, and bringing them to the Red Barn to put them into action. Please join us to sample and enjoy our creations!!

Saint J Brewery is a small unique Brewpub and 6-Barrel Brewery nettled inside the Green Mountain Mall in Saint Johnsbury Center Vermont, just 1 mile off Interstate 91(exit 22). We have a wide range of full flavored hand crafted ales and lagers. We offer 7 core beers, 2 seasonal, 2 specialty, and 7 “Toast with a Saint” aged beers. We started distributing to a few local establishments in 2017. We will be canning 4 of our core beers, Raspberry Wheat, Smokin’ J IPA, Brown Chaga & Double Citra J in 16oz cans in Spring of 2019. We also serve house made non-alcohol Chaga Tea and locally made Raspberry & Hops Kombuchas from Kingdom Kombucha as well as a delicious combination of both.

Brian and Jenn Cook created Kingdom Brewing with the intent to brew authentic craft beers from a wide variety of locally produced ingredients. Starting with American grown grains, they combine farm chemistry and heirloom recipes with ingredients from their farm & greenhouse such as maple sap, spruce tips and berries to create a variety of light to robust seasonal beers.

Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations.

The brewery is the revival and continuation of 220 years of Hill heritage and hand crafted history in North Greensboro, Vermont.

Its logo is retrieved from a sign that once hung in Aaron Hill’s (our great(x3) grandfather) tavern, just up the hill, in the early 1800s.
